12 Month Limited Warranty – Defects in Materials and Workmanship

TrailerAxleStore.com is owned and operated by Beck Trailer LLC, doing business as Trailer Axle Store ("Trailer Axle Store," "we," "our," or "us").

Trailer Axle Store provides a limited 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the covered components listed below. Certain components supplied by third-party manufacturers may also be subject to the original manufacturer's warranty terms and claim procedures.

Warranty Coverage

This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship affecting the following components:

• Axle Tube: Defects in the axle tube material or structural failure resulting from a covered defect.
• Spindles: Defects in spindle material, machining, or Trailer Axle Store fabrication and attachment workmanship, where applicable.
• Brakes: Defects in materials or workmanship may be covered under the applicable brake manufacturer's warranty. Normal wear, adjustment, contamination, overheating, wiring issues, or improper installation are not covered.

Warranty Period

This limited warranty begins on the original invoice date and remains in effect for 12 months. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Warranty coverage applies only to defects in materials and workmanship. Damage or failure caused by improper installation, modification, misuse, abuse, overloading, impact, accident, lack of maintenance, or other outside causes is not covered.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage or failure caused by improper installation, improper alignment, incorrect axle orientation, or installation on a damaged or misaligned trailer, frame, or suspension.
• Damage or failure resulting from use of an axle with insufficient rated capacity for the trailer, cargo, or actual operating load.
• Overloading beyond the rated capacity of the axle, suspension, wheels, tires, brakes, or other related components.
• Damage caused by improper wheel or tire fitment, excessive wheel offset, incorrect wheel torque, or other improper running-gear configuration.
• Damage caused by welding, drilling, grinding, sanding, cutting, machining, heating, bending, straightening, modification, alteration, or unauthorized repair where such work caused or contributed to the claimed damage or failure.
• Customer-installed, relocated, or welded spring perches where the installation, welding, positioning, or modification caused or contributed to the claimed damage or failure.
• Damage caused by accidents, collisions, road hazards, potholes, curb strikes, impact, off-road use, abuse, or misuse.
• Normal wear and tear, surface rust, corrosion, paint damage, scratches, discoloration, or cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the structural function of the product.
• Damage resulting from improper maintenance, lack of lubrication, improper bearing adjustment, improper brake adjustment, or failure to follow applicable maintenance procedures.
• Normal brake wear, brake adjustment, worn friction material, brake contamination, overheating, or damage caused by improper wiring or installation.
• Bearings, seals, hubs, drums, brake assemblies, hardware, and other third-party components except to the extent covered by an applicable manufacturer's warranty.
• Labor charges, diagnostic charges, removal or installation costs, towing, storage, rental expenses, transportation costs, downtime, loss of use, or other related expenses unless specifically authorized in writing by Trailer Axle Store or required by applicable law.
• Incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Modifications and Repairs

Modification of an axle does not automatically eliminate warranty coverage for an unrelated defect. However, Trailer Axle Store may deny warranty coverage for any damage or failure caused by or contributed to by welding, drilling, grinding, sanding, cutting, machining, heating, bending, straightening, spring-perch installation, modification, improper repair, or other alteration of the product.

No repair, welding, machining, replacement, or other corrective work may be performed for reimbursement without prior written authorization from Trailer Axle Store. Unauthorized repairs, labor, or other expenses will not be reimbursed except where required by applicable law.

Third-Party Components

Components manufactured by third parties, including brake assemblies, hubs, bearings, seals, drums, and related hardware, may be covered by separate warranties provided by their respective manufacturers. Trailer Axle Store will assist the customer in submitting an eligible warranty claim when appropriate, but approval and available remedies for third-party components may be determined by the original manufacturer.

How to File a Warranty Claim

1. Contact TrailerAxleStore.com at service@traileraxlestore.com and provide your order number, purchaser name, and a detailed description of the issue.
2. Provide clear photographs of the claimed defect and any additional photographs or information reasonably requested by Trailer Axle Store. This may include photographs of the complete trailer, axle installation, suspension, wheels and tires, spring perches, axle identification markings, trailer VIN or weight placard, and other related components.
3. When relevant to the claim, Trailer Axle Store may request information regarding axle capacity, trailer weight, cargo weight, tire and wheel specifications, wheel offset, hub face measurement, spring-center measurement, maintenance history, or actual loaded trailer weight.
4. Do not return any product or component without prior authorization from Trailer Axle Store. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
5. Trailer Axle Store may require inspection of the product or component before determining warranty coverage.
6. Claims involving third-party manufactured components may be submitted to the original manufacturer for review. Trailer Axle Store will assist in facilitating the claim when appropriate.
7. If a claim is approved, Trailer Axle Store will determine the appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, replacement components, or refund, subject to the terms of this warranty and any applicable manufacturer's warranty.
8. Responsibility for return shipping, freight, or transportation costs will be determined based on the nature of the claim, applicable warranty coverage, and applicable law.

Warranty Remedy

For a valid claim covered directly by this limited warranty, Trailer Axle Store's obligation is limited, at its option, to repair of the defective component, replacement of the defective component or product, or refund of the applicable purchase price. Replacement products or components may be new, remanufactured, or functionally equivalent where permitted by law.

No person, employee, dealer, installer, or other party is authorized to modify or expand this limited warranty unless the modification is made in writing and approved by Trailer Axle Store.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TRAILER AXLE STORE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, TOWING, STORAGE, RENTAL EXPENSES, LOST PROFITS, LABOR COSTS, DOWNTIME, OR OTHER EXPENSES ARISING FROM A PRODUCT FAILURE.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE 12-MONTH PERIOD OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Nothing in this warranty is intended to limit or exclude any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under applicable federal or state law.
